Congratulations MCBC Dancers
This year's Mid-States Regional Dance America festival was held
April 29-May 1 at the Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts
Center in Taylor, Michigan. MCBC dancers walked away
winners...

Out of five cash scholarships, three went to MCBC dancers:
Carly Hammond
Grace Kowalski
Elizabeth Ratze

Out of fourteen dancers who auditioned for the Choreography Intensive,
Lizzy Stevens was chosen as the first alternate.

Marjorie Grundvig, director of the
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, was very
impressed with our juniors in pointe class.

All of the Pittsburgh Ballet faculty, jazz instructor Joe Istre, and modern faculty
were very impressed with the performance quality and training of our
senior dancers.

Mary Geiger, MCBC artistic director, was approached to guest teach at
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.

Great job all!
